Analyzing Text Messaging & Microblogging
I believe that text messaging and
microblogging can be used for not only social communication but for educational
purposes as well. I have used text messaging for polls in the classroom. I have
also used Microblogging to share information and make professional critiques on
art work in class. When comparing and contrasting todays technology with
historical communication I find a lot of differences. We have progressed from
the printing press/newspaper being the only way to receive news to texting and
microblogging. Microblogging and texting are evidently faster and more
efficient. In the future Microblogging and text messaging can be used for all
assignments. Paper assignments will be non existent.
